About Us

Birds & Co. is a small, family-run business born from a lifelong love of animals. We’re a busy family of six, and animals have always been a big part of our lives and our home. From the tiniest feathered babies to all the beautiful personalities that come along with them, caring for animals has always been something very close to my heart.

Growing up, I always imagined myself working with animals and dreamed of becoming a vet nurse. Life ended up taking me down a slightly different and very special path. While my children are still little, I’ve chosen to dedicate these years to being a stay at home mum, soaking up this season of family life while getting to pour that same nurturing side of me into raising our beautiful birds.

What started from a genuine love for birds has grown into Birds & Co. Our babies are raised right amongst our family, with plenty of hands-on care, gentle handling, attention and, of course, lots of love. Being home means I’m lucky enough to spend so much time with them during those important early stages, watching their little personalities emerge and helping them grow into confident, social little companions.

For us, this is so much more than simply raising birds. They become part of our little family before they become part of yours. ♡ There’s something incredibly special about watching a tiny baby grow and then seeing them head off to a family who is just as excited to love them as we have been. It’s the heart behind everything we do here at Birds & Co.
